Nepal Gaja Development Foundation achieved significant milestones across multiple programs.
The organization successfully operated a day care center for children with intellectual disabilities, providing daily services, life skills training, and social integration activities. The "Nutrition Quality Enhancement" project improved public health in rural areas by supporting 47 farmers with agricultural inputs, conducting training on post-harvest storage, and facilitating women’s health and nutrition awareness sessions. The "Aatmanirbhar Baglung" program, in partnership with Heifer International, empowered 2,600 families through self-help groups, distributed livestock, provided agricultural training, and promoted organic farming. The "Ecotourism for Income and Employment" initiative trained 93 people in homestay management and promoted local agricultural products for sustainable tourism. Lastly, under the "President’s Women Upliftment Livelihood Improvement Program," 50 underprivileged women received grants and training in agriculture and animal husbandry, leading to successful business ventures in farming and livestock rearing.
